Hey all!

I have finally got a macro lens after spending ages searching for one. It is a Sony 100mm f/2.8 macro.
I went down the garden with it the other day and got some nice shots of wet flowers which I will upload soon hopefully, but I am rather busy today. I also tried to take a photo of a spider but it ran into a group of buds on a plant and hid.

On Monday I went for a very long walk and took a few photos mainly with my 75-300mm lens. I also took a couple with my macro lens as well. These will also be uploaded soon.

Hi everyone!

I haven't updated this in a while so I thought that I better had. I have been really busy lately finishing off coursework and doing exams, but I have only got one exam left to do which is over a week away. I have been out and about recently taking photos as we have had nice weather, so I should be uploading them soon.

I haven't had any luck with the art thieves. I am still finding my A Duck on the Pebbles on various websites, including blogging sites. Most of the blogging sites are foreign and contain other deviants' work as well. All the images on the blog websites are of rubber ducks.
I have tried to get my work removed from them, but have had no response.

I have also noticed that there are many users on Photobucket who have taken work from dA and posting it as their own. Mine was one of them, but has now thankfully been removed. So if you type your dA username into Photobucket, you may see some of your images. However, it is easy for them to remove it.

Sigma 50mm f2.8 macro lens for Sony α200
This is a lens that I am hoping to buy. However, every single place that I have looked at, are sold out. Does anyone know where I can get this?

I am totally confused which lens to get!

After spending a lot of time reading dA news [link] I finally found out how to report pics on Photobucket, so I got in touch with them and they have removed my Bunny Avatar deviation that someone was claiming to be theirs.

I double checked the websites on blog.cz but nobody has responded to my comment (I had asked them to remove it as I hadn't given them permission to use it).

If anyone knows any Czech your help will be appreciated as I don't understand the language.

I was talking to someone on MSN earlier today who saw my display pic [link] and didn't believe that I had drawn it. She said I had probably got it from Google, so I decided to Google my username to see if it would appear there. Instead I found a website which was displaying my A Duck on the Pebbles deviation without my permission. It also contained other rubber duck photos by different dA users - one of them had even commented to get their work removed.
After finding out that somebody had used my work without my permission I looked up my username on various other search engines to see if anyone else had used my work, and read many news articles here on dA (One of which said to Google your username and check it on Photobucket regularly to see if any work is stolen). And then I found that my Bunny Avatar had been posted up by some user of Photobucket. Not only has this user taken my avatar, but they have taken avatars from other dA users and other websites.
I wanted to report this user of Photobucket because they had stolen my work and other people's but I don't know how to. Does anyone here know how to?
And now back to the site where people have posted the rubber duck photos. It is a Czech website (blog.cz) and I have seen 2 different users who have posted up photos of rubber ducks by dA users. Both of these users have taken my "A Duck on the Pebbles" and I don't know what to do about it. I did comment on the first one I saw and asked them could they remove as I had not given them permission to use it.

If anyone knows how I can report these users and get the work removed from the websites, please let me know.

Yay-I'm finally on my summer holidays! During which I'll take lots of photos, hopefully get a new camera (Sony Alpha 200), get my AS results , make a game on Flash 8, and some art work.

When I read =fluffyvolkswagens shoutboard I saw this 14 Song Project (originally created by =vilhelmina) and thought "Wow" so I am now going to take part. Here are the rules:
1) Start your music player in randomize mode.
2) Get anything that will let you write the song titles down.
3) Randomize 14 songs, writing the titles down for all of them.
4) Then, you make 14 different pictures, each somehow relating to one of the songs.
5) Post the list somewhere public and keep it updated as you go.
6) When you finish, tell Vilhelmina about it, and she'll add you to her list. (:
7) Spread the joy! Tell your friends, tag people, things like that.

When randomizing, if you come across a song you don't like at all, or for whatever reason don't think would be suitable to draw something related to, just skip it. This is supposed to be fun, so. ;D Try not to skip TOO many songs though, we still want to keep some kind of randomized feeling. XD.
